The day I got my Playstation 3 gaming system was one of the greatest days of my life. I was full of excitement over the availability for me to have one of the best video gaming systems in the world. It turns out the possibilities; the potential use for the PS3 was limited to what I knew video game systems are capable of doing now.
My friends would say.
“Yo, Brian. You play online, multi-player games with your PS3?”
“Yo, Brian. Check out that multi-player!”
I would reply with a simple, “No.”
They’d in turn ask. “Why not?”
Cause I just didn’t know.
I did not know about the “Playstation Network” Community. I figure this thing must have come out in November of 2006 when the Playstation 3 came out. Anytime, any day, anybody with a PS3 and internet access, signs into the “Playstation Network”. We all get online, share trophies, and stats for games that are played online or offline. Chat with your friends via webcam and microphone. There is the “Playstation Home” (virtual world) where we go online and meet up to text chat using text bubbles over our electronic very human like images of ourselves. We dance play games like bowling, pool, and chess. Go shopping and buy clothes and furniture for the Playstation Home virtual world and interact with other features as well. We can play multi-player online games co-op or multi-player, as teams against the computer or against each other as teams or on your own. Online Poker via webcam and microphone. It is so easy to make friends here. One of the best features which make it easy to find someone to play online games with is a friends list, displaying other people on the “Playstation Network”.

Video games have come a long way since entering homes for the first time. The first time I played a video game with others over the internet on a home computer. I was 17 years it was awesome. To chase down another living breathing human being, through the medium of electronic devices and signals, and slay their electronic aperture entirely with weapons available in the game, is great for me for competition.
Video Games have only gotten better. The next time I played a video game with others over the internet, it was with a playstation 2 gaming console. The games that I enjoyed were socom and battlefield, online. In competition with other living individuals that are far from my home. Fighting with weapons, firearms, armored light armored unarmored assault vehicles. The playstation 2 has great graphics, great playability, and gaming diversity to online gaming.

With the advances in video game technology gamers have the chance to interact with a variety of simulations both real world and fantasy. Atari released there Atari 2600 in 1977 and since then video game systems have advanced right along with their popularity. Some of the games that I have played with Atari are Centipede, Othello, and River Raid as well as Combat.

Positioned from within a battle ready tank, against another player or against an AI enemy tank you fight for position on the map with your tank. Strategically firing from one position onto your enemy’s position enabled with the advances of invisibility, intent on winning. Tanks had the option for two different kinds of ammunition, straight shot or a bouncing shot. Fight in the skies against enemy planes and bombers, alone or in a squadron the player with the most points wins. Combat is a video game by Atari for the Atari 2600 Video Game System. Combat was sold in the box included with the Atari system.
Since the advances in video game technology there has been hundreds of thousands of games. Video games have been hosted by popular video game systems such as the Atari 2600. Since the Atari there has been over 15 video game systems around the world not including handheld portable systems. The Nintendo series with the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii. Nintendo is a huge video game system company and that is all they do. Also there is the Playstation series by the Sony Corporation. The Playstation, Playstation 2, and the Playstation 3. All top of the line video game systems that have definitely raised the bar in video gaming. Microsoft hosts PC games for computers they also have gaming consoles, the X-Box and the X-Box 360. These 2 systems are in direct competition with the Playstation series. Some older game systems are the NEO-GEO, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast and the Sega Saturn worked hard to grab a market share in the video game industry and couldn’t, but they were able to make advances in video game technology.
Battlefield Bad Company

Another good game that has tanks and planes is Battlefield Bad Company 1, 2 and Battlefield 1943. These games are hosted by the Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PC’s, Microsoft X-Box and the X-Box 360. The game is actually different because it is a 3D realistic game environment strapped with a 25 year difference of video game technology. Definitely made to be a totally awesome video-game. And this game totally goes back to the basics of weaponry with the combat knife. (In multi-player, turn around, there might be an enemy behind you with a knife.) Medium and heavy armor tanks firing 40mm and 105mm tank guns. Boats and Light and medium armored assault vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns and grenade launchers.
Games systems that I have played games on include the Nintendo series with the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast and the Sega Saturn, PC games, Playstation, Playstation 2, and the Playstation 3, as well as the X-Box.
